For the first time in Bend Venture Conference history, four outdoor industry companies were chosen to compete in the annual completion. Homeschool Apparel, Carin, and Free Range Backpacks, three of the four, were also part of the inaugural session for Bend Outdoor Worx, a new outdoor industry incubator located in Central Oregon. Homeschool Apparel is a snowboarding technical apparel company that focuses on products that have durability, breathability and design. Cairn is a monthly subscription box that is filled with new products for recreational enthusiasts. Free Range Backpacks provides simple, durable, functional backpacking equipment. Bend Outdoor Worx is a Central Oregon incubator that focuses on outdoor industry companies.
