Kiverdi, a San Francisco based chemical company was recently named #15 in “The 40 Hottest Smaller Companies in the Advanced Bioeconomy for 2014-15.” Kiverdi was founded with the goal of developing alternative fuels and bio-products that meet growing energy demands without impacting the economics of food production or posing a threat to natural habitats. The Top 40 companies were published in The Digest, a widely-read advanced bioeconomy daily newsletter out of Miami, FL.

Overall more than 100,000 individual companies were rated and broken down into the annual Hot 30, 40 and 50 rankings. These rankings recognize innovation, achievement in fuels, biocased chemicals and materials by developing companies.

Siluria Technologies, a company that is pioneering the commercial production of fuels and chemicals made from clean, abundant natural gas, was named #11 on the Top 40 Hot List.
