Inna Efimchik has a corporate and securities practice, focusing on emerging growth companies and venture capital firms. Her practice includes general corporate counseling and securities advising, venture capital financings, debt transactions, corporate partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions.
During her practice she has represented companies in a wide range of industries, including software, internet, mobile, life sciences, biofuel and biotechnology, medical device, and clean technology. Ms. Efimchik joined White Summers in 2011 from Emergence Law Group, a boutique law firm founded by Ms. Efimchik. Previously, Ms. Efimchik practiced in the emerging companies groups at Cooley LLP and at Heller Ehrman Venture Law Group.
In 2005, Ms. Efimchik earned a J.D. from University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she was an Executive Editor of the California Law Review, and Assistant Editor of Boalt Journal of International Law. Ms. Efimchik is the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Small Business Counseling Practicum and in Trade Secrets.
Ms. Efimchik holds a Berkeley School of Law, Law & Technology Certificate. Ms. Efimchik graduated with a B.A. in History, with distinction, from the University of California at Berkeley in 2000.
