Most of you are already aware that White Summers opened its European Office in Budapest in January. On March 18th our European Office organized a presentation at the Prezi offices in Budapest attended by 250 tech entrepreneurs, investors and sector leaders that was streamed live on Ustream…….followed by an Office Launch Party on March 19th attended by over 125 leaders of the Hungarian tech community, including a sitting minister of the Hungarian federal government and two former ministers. The WS launch has gotten a lot of press in blogs, tweets, Facebook and a featured article in Forbes Hungary (link below). In addition, Peter Arvai, Prezi’s CEO, tweeted our office launch to his followers and endorsed our efforts in Central Eastern Europe (CEE).

Photos of both the Prezi event and the Office Launch can be found on the Facebook accounts for our Euro Office at and our US offices at The firm now has solid and sustainable presence in Russia, Ukraine, CEE, the Nordic and Baltic Regions and Spain. It appears that we also have opportunities in Austria and Germany.

We got press this month in Forbes Hungary for our work with the venture and startup crowd in CEE!   Check out the online Teaser link to the Forbes interview at Our lawyers in Budapest aside, none of us here in the US understand what this says – but we are told its all good. Sure hope so….!
