Every startup has rocky beginnings, but when a company experiences growth like Tesla did it’s more important than ever for the founders to be protected as early on as possible.
Hotmail Founders
Before their eventual acquisition by Microsoft, Hotmail partnered with White Summers to ensure their free email service reached global scale. With their grit they ended up changing the way we all use email today.

After being founded by three bright minds in Hungary, Prezi needed to fundraise and expand within the U.S. The vast network of White Summers helped connect them to some of the most prominent investors in the valley as well as structure the company strategically for international growth.

Delfast
Delfast manufactures and distributes the world’s longest-range e-bikes – powerful and eco-friendly vehicles both for city use, commuting and off-roading. Starting as a last-mile delivery company in 2014, by 2017 Delfast pivoted to manufacturing e-bikes and in 2018 became a Guinness record holder for its e-bike covering the distance of 367 km on a single charge. Today, Delfast e-bikes are sold globally to commuters, off-road riders, and police officers in the US & Mexico. This is only the beginning. Delfast is dedicated to developing the idea of powerful range electric vehicles that do not harm our planet.

OluKai is a premium footwear brand which honors the heritage of the Hawaiian Islands and the spirit of Aloha. A certified B corporation, OluKai designs and develops footwear that combines durability for the waterman and ocean lifestyle, with a brand ethos embracing strong values and roots with style, comfort and craftsmanship. The firm has served as general counsel to OluKai and its affiliate brands since its founding in 2005.
Omni Charge
Like most inventions, Omnicharge was born out of our own personal needs as creatives, designers, engineers, and mobile professionals like yourself. We all carry around a power bank that charges our cellphone, but often times we found ourselves in need of a power outlet to charge our laptops while traveling. Running out of power with no access to a socket sometimes means no productivity, which isn’t an option in today’s demanding and time-sensitive environment.

Flo Health
Flo is an AI-powered health app that supports women through their entire reproductive life cycle. With 30 million monthly active audience users and 100 million installs, Flo’s vision is to significantly improve the health and well-being of every woman in the world. Flo provides curated cycle tracking and predictions, personalized health insights, expert recommendations and a private community for women to share their questions and concerns. White Summers has represented Flo on a variety of matters ranging from general corporate advice and counseling, employment law and commercial contracts.

Grand Central Bakery ignited a bread revolution in 1989 by introducing rustic artisan loaves to Northwest tables. Values are at the heart of their company and sustainability touches everything they do – from where they buy ingredients to how they care for their employees and invest in their communities.
Airtame
Airtame makes a screen sharing device for schools and businesses. Wanting to make it easy for people to share data and ideas without cables, so you can work without limits. Airtame started out as a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign in 2014 during which raised a total of $1.3M. Since then, they’ve grown into a company with 80+ people and have shipped more than 100,000 devices. Based in windy Copenhagen, White Summers supported Airtame during their journey and helped them open a both a U.S. and Budapest office.
Nebia
Nebia was started on the premise of creating great products that fundamentally change the way people think about their relationship to water in their home. Their team is driven by an obsessive passion for creating better experiences, as well as a core belief that we can be more responsible consumers of earth’s most precious resource. Three years ago, Nebia introduced the Nebia Spa Shower 1.0 on Kickstarter and have since shipped over 16,000 showers to 55 countries. Together, Nebia’s community has saved over 100 million gallons of water.

Cinemood is the smart, streaming kid’s mobile projector that started three years ago on Indiegogo and has since grown into a $10M in revenue global company. The company helps parents prepare their kids for the digital age while providing them their own, beloved, content-safe device. Cinemood is based in San Francisco and Moscow with customers all over the world. White Summers has represented Cinemood on everything from corporate structuring and restructuring matters, investment, commercial work, and immigration matters.
Peerbridge
Peerbridge Health is a dynamic digital health company focused on user comfort, medical necessity, and insurance requirements. Its flagship product, the Peerbridge CorTM is a compact, lightweight, wireless electrocardiogram (ECG) that delivers multiple channels of clean, analyzable data. Equipped with a 24/7 monitoring facility, Peerbridge strives to ensure that the greatest care is given to those that rely on its products and reporting services. White Summers has represented Peerbridge on several rounds of financing and key licensing agreements of its technology.
SellHound
SellHound is a mission-driven startup looking to solve the problem of “stuff” by simplifying selling secondhand. SellHound’s platform includes the Fetch Engine, the first ever comparison search for secondhand items, as well as their AI-powered Virtual Listing Assistant App that enables users to resell like a pro. The user simply snaps a couple of photos of the item they want to sell and SellHound creates an SEO-optimized listing, complete with a suggested selling price, and posts directly to eBay with more marketplaces in the works. White Summers helped SellHound secure its critical angel financing from leading angel groups including Sand Hill Angels, Portfolia and Frontier Angels.
BovControl
BovControl started providing a cloud-based data collection app for cattle management and livestock ranchers. Its apps provides reports, graphics, and analysis of cattle production, through multiple perspectives: processors, brands, ranchers, employees of the farms and technical consultants.
Perfect Company
Perfect Company is the leading Internet-of-Things developer and innovator of connected kitchen products. The Company’s smart scales and guided recipe apps enable easy, seamless, beginning-to-end food and drink preparation at home. With the Company’s guided recipes, the kitchen experience is free of measuring utensils, and the users are guaranteed delicious food and drinks made to perfection. In addition, the app keeps track of users' nutritional intake for every recipe. The Company also develops IOT products with selected manufacturers of quick service commercial kitchen equipment.
InVivo Biosystems
InVivo Biosystems provides phenotyping and functional analysis using C. elegans nematodes through its Precisome platform for in vivo testing for early drug discovery, agribio, and precision medicine. The platform provides rapid phenotypic analysis and functional assessment of humanized model organisms. InVivo Biosystems mission is to create an industry standard in phenotypic measurements using C. elegans, enabling scientists and researchers around the world to better understand human diseases and explore potential treatments for high-impact disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), cardiac arrhythmias, and human & animal parasitology. The Company’s ScreenChip technology can acquire and display neuromuscular data in real time for reliable assessment of neuronal and physiological responses to genetic, drug effects and other environmental changes.
