Big shout out to TargetPath, IGNW, Avocor, and Ruby - all clients of Jon Summers - for making it onto Inc’s 5000 fastest-growing list! Keep it up!

In a year where so much business slowed to a crawl, it's comforting to reflect on the companies that have been growing like wildfire over the last few years and, hopefully, will pick up where they left off next year.

Oregon- and Clark County, Washington-based companies occupied 59 of the 5000 coveted spots on Inc. magazine's latest national list of fastest-growing firms. Thus, the region accounted for 1.2 percent of some of the nation's most productive companies.

In 2019, the region yielded an even better result with 68 Inc. 5000 companies. This year, it featured 51 Oregon firms with a median three-year growth rate of 137 percent and eight Clark County firms growing a median of 218 percent. Altogether, they collected $4.8 billion in 2019 and added 5,614 employees to the local economy. Of the 59 firms, 48 were repeat honorees.

The group included many technology firms with six software developers, five IT managers or system developers, two telecom firms, one computer hardware maker. It also had eight business products and services firms, six advertising and marketing firms, five consumer products and services firms, four financial services firms and four health-related companies.

Many of the companies will also be honored in the Portland Business Journal's own Private 100 Fastest-Growing List, which will be published on November 13 this year.
